Composite Fabrication Specialist

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Composite Fabrication Specialist (Entry-level or Associate) to support the Composite Fabrication Team based in West Jordan Utah.

Shift preference is granted to teammates based on their seniority.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs composite lay-up fabrication and assembly tasks

• Composite bagging and forming

• Composite drilling and bonding

• Tooling preparation

• Machine set up and operation

• Overhead crane operation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 months of experience in manufacturing

• Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing bending kneeling and lifting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement Standard Work and 5-S tools)

• Experience managing or working with safety quality and manufacturing performance data
