Profile - Electronic Design Engineer Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Qualification - Bachelors degree in Electronics Advanced certifications in power electronics or embedded systems are a plus.
Experience- Min. 6 years of experience in electronics engineering preferably in BESS renewable energy or electric mobility. Proven expertise in BMS design control logic development and system integration. Hands-on experience with power electronics and auxiliary systems like HVAC and EMS.
Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems and hardware-based control logic.
Salary - Upto 10 LPA

Job Description
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in communication protocols such as CAN MODBUS and daisy chain
setups.
Knowledge of circuit design tools (e.g. Altium OrCAD) and simulation software (e.g.
MATLAB LTSpice PSpice).
Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements in energy
systems.
Problem-solving mindset with a strong ability to troubleshoot and debug electronics
systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Passion for innovation and advancing renewable energy solutions.
Responsibilitie s:
1. Hardware Design and Development:
Design and develop electronic circuits including low-voltage (LV) systems and power
electronics (e.g. DC-DC AC-DC converters).
Develop and test Battery Management Systems (BMS) focusing on hardware
integration control logic and communication.
Design circuits to supply power to auxiliary systems like HVAC Fire Safety Systems
(FSS) Energy Management Systems (EMS) and fans.
2. Communication and Control Systems:
Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols such as CAN MODBUS and
daisy chain to enable seamless system integration.
Develop and optimize PLC-based control systems for automation and monitoring.
Design and validate Master Controllers to coordinate multiple BMS units for large-scale
BESS setups.
3. Power Electronics and Auxiliary Systems:
Develop LV circuits for powering auxiliary systems and ensuring energy efficiency.
Optimize the performance and reliability of power electronics in the energy storage
ecosystem.
Integrate and validate auxiliary systems ensuring seamless interaction with the main
BESS.
4. System Benchmarking and Troubleshooting:
Benchmark and evaluate different BMS solutions to identify and implement the most
suitable options.
Analyze and resolve issues in electronic circuits communication systems and auxiliary
devices.
Conduct system-level testing to validate design performance and ensure compliance
with safety standards.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare technical documentation including circuit diagrams test reports and user
manuals.
Maintain detailed records of design iterations test results and system improvements.
