Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Women and Family Center including Labor & Delivery Postpartum and Newborn Care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies state and federal regulations and nursing standards.
- Support mentor and manage clinical staff including RNs LPNs and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budgets staffing plans and department goals.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and safety.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or an active compact license allowing practice in Iowa.
- BLS certification is required at the time of hire.
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certification for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse is required upon hire.
- Previous leadership experience in womens health OB/GYN family care or a related specialty is preferred.
