Summary
Cluster Director of Procurement you will lead the procurement function for both Raffles and Fairmont The Red Sea. This is a critical pre-opening leadership role focused on creating and executing a strategic sourcing plan that ensures the timely procurement of goods and services upholding the highest standards of luxury and operational excellence specific to the Raffles and Fairmont brands.
You will play a central role in establishing robust supplier relationships implementing cost controls and ensuring the seamless operational readiness of both resorts.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Procurement Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for both properties aligned with Raffles and Fairmont brand identities luxury standards and project timelines.
Collaborate closely with project teams technical services and operational departments to ensure procurement aligns with design quality and functional specifications.
Manage the full sourcing lifecycleincluding RFPs tenders supplier qualification contract negotiation and delivery timelines.
Build and maintain relationships with reputable vendors focusing on local sourcing and sustainability where possible.
Cluster Oversight
Lead and oversee procurement processes across both Raffles and Fairmont resorts ensuring efficiency cost-effectiveness and standardization of luxury materials and services.
Develop cluster-wide purchasing policies procedures and systems aligned with Accors global standards.
Ensure compliance with local laws regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Coordinate with finance and pre-opening operational teams to manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for all purchases.
Vendor & Contract Management
Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers and service providers in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region.
Monitor supplier performance and service levels ensuring quality consistency and compliance with service agreements.
Negotiate pricing payment terms and long-term contracts to achieve value while maintaining luxury standards.
Team Leadership
Build mentor and lead a high-performing procurement team across both properties.
Provide training and guidance to ensure consistent application of best practices and ethical standards.
Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and innovation.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Saudi National
Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration or related field; professional certification (e.g. CIPS CSCP) is a plus.
Minimum of 710 years of experience in procurement leadership roles within luxury hospitality or high-end development projects.
Proven experience in pre-opening environments and managing complex multi-property procurement scopes.
Strong knowledge of local and international vendor networks regulatory requirements and customs procedures.
Excellent negotiation contract management and analytical skills.
Proficiency in procurement systems and ERP platforms (e.g. Oracle SAP).
Bilingual: Fluent in Arabic and English.
