Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the Cardio Diagnostics Department
- Supervise and mentor sonographers and staff in performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures
- Ensure compliance with all clinical safety and quality standards
- Maintain equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and administration to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- 1 years of hands-on ultrasound experience in echocardiography
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) preferred or registry eligible
- Must obtain RDCS/RCS certification within 14 months of hire if not already certified
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a healthcare or diagnostic imaging setting
