At emcd. our key to success is the passion of our employees. We believe that only those who truly love their work achieve great results. As we continue to grow and follow market trends we are looking for a Head of controlling & audit to join our team.
You will implement policies and procedures and use various tools to control and audit multiple financial departments within a group of companies.
Responsibilities
- Organization and management of the controlling functionality in the Group of Companies.
- Administration of the financial controlling system to ensure the achievement of planned indicators for functional units and the entire Group on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.
- Development of proposals and active participation in their implementation to improve the business processes of the units to fulfill plans for functional budgets and improve the efficiency of their activities.
Requirements
- Higher education (economics/finance).
- Experience as Head of Audit/Financial Control Group for at least 5 years.
- Experience in audit companies for at least 2 years (experience in BIG-4 is desirable).
- Confirmed experience in managing similar functionality in manufacturing companies preferably in market sectors of the economy with a wide and diverse range of products (e.g. pharmaceuticals food and non-food consumer goods).
- Successful experience in building and developing similar functionality from scratch experience in implementing and optimizing controlling processes is desirable.
- Experience in forming budgets and implementing budget control (in particular the income and expense budget as well as the cash flow budget).
- Having DipIFR CIMA and similar certificates is a significant advantage.
- Professionalism leadership skills ability to analyze and solve multifactorial and multivariant problems.
- Analytical thinking ability to motivate subordinates high stress resistance.
