At the heart of Next we have the HR Tech team supporting all of head office retail and our warehouses - thats over 50000 people! Oracle was introduced to support such a large and growing workforce and will ensure that our people continue to be at the heart of NEXT by ensuring we have the software we need to develop current talent attract new talent to join us as well as the oh so important payroll aspects.

About the role:

As a Technical Support Analyst you will become an expert on our existing HR systems. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional administrative and technical support to our users. So whats involved

  • Providing first-line support to all employees across the business on a variety of systems.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for environment and first-line incidents.
  • Managing and prioritising incidents and service requests using ServiceNow our Service Management tool.
  • Escalating high-priority and business-impacting issues to the appropriate teams to ensure swift resolution.
  • Maintaining data integrity by meticulously recording all actions for incidents and service requests.
  • Analysing and documenting existing system processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Staying up-to-date with new applications and functionalities to provide the best possible support.
  • Building and maintaining strong lasting relationships with our stakeholders and providing clear and effective communication to users at all levels of the business.

About you:

  • You have a logical and analytical mindset with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
  • A proactive nature and are willing to learn picking up new systems and processes quickly.
  • Experience delivering excellent service both in-person and through technology.
  • Youre familiar with incident logging systems such as ITIL tools like ServiceNow.
  • SQL for database interrogation
  • Google G Suite and Oracle HCM experience is preferred.
  • If you have an understanding and use of AI for process automation then this would be desirable.

Youll be doing all this on site from our Leicestershire Head Office full time (5 days per week).
