HR Payroll - Ensuring Financial Integrity and Employee Satisfaction
Are you an experienced payroll professional with a passion for leadership and process improvement Were looking for aPayroll Quality Team Leadto join our team and help ensure our payroll services run smoothly accurately and on time.
In this role youll lead a team of payroll practitioners making sure theyre supported trained and working to high standards while playing a key part in delivering payroll for a wide range of customers including the Council Wiltshire schools Academies and other external organisations. Responsibilities will include ensuring appropriate operational resource allocation across the team team inductions appraisals 1-2-1s training and development succession planning recruitment and staff well-being (including occupational health) as well as ensuring staff are operating to a professional standard in line with Our Identity.
Youll work closely with our Payroll Specialists and Professional Leads to improve how we use our payroll system (Oracle ERP) streamline processes and ensure compliance with legislation. Youll also help resolve complex payroll queries support audits and contribute to key projects and milestones like pay awards and year-end submissions.
