Bilingual in English & Spanish (required)
Organized detail-oriented and excellent with clients
Resilient under pressure and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines
Passionate about immigration and making a difference
Experienced in immigration law (preferably in removal defense)
Confident with Microsoft Word Outlook Excel (intermediate level)
Bachelors degree is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
Use case management systems to manage and update client data
Assist in preparing legal documents including briefs motions and filings for EOIR USCIS and federal court with attorney supervision.
Manage complex cases and maintain deadlines with precision
Coordinate with clients to gather documents provide updates and schedule appointments
Research procedures related to immigration issues
Communicate with government agencies including USCIS EOIR ICE and federal courts
Communicate with clients (and potential clients!) in person over the phone and via email
Support attorney with administrative and legal tasks
Mail correspondence manage timelines and help keep the team on track
Jump in on other projects when needed-were all in this together!
