Job Description

TECH is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Department. If you thrive on building relationships and customer service and have a knack for communication organization and love to expand your professional knowledge base this is the job for YOU!

Under the supervisor on the Vice President of Human Resources the HR Coordinator will assist in the set-up organization and monitoring of employee programs training sessions and processes. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management/safe keeping of employee records and entry to mid-level recruitment functions. Attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality/privacy to include HIPAA is a must.


This position is non-exempt and wage is dependent upon qualification work history and skill sets. Specific duties include:

  • Actively involved in the development and maintenance of TECHs HRMS.
  • Actively involved in TECHs benefit program and responds to inquiries helps resolve benefit related problems and takes a lead in annual open and new hire/off-cycle enrollment functions/events.
  • Actively involved in TECHs recruitment background screening and on-boarding processes.
  • Prepares and maintains employee files.
  • Coordinates and administers the off-boarding process of employees separating from TECH employment.
  • Processes personnel changes within HRMS.
  • Partners with Training Department and assists with the upkeep of internal training calendars material resources and scheduling.
  • Actively participates in organizational training/development and execution of programs activities initiatives and system updates.
  • Initiates processes and maintains paperwork for annual employee evaluations and merit pay increases.
  • Acts as a designated back up for the Main Office Employee/Receptionist within the facility. Will be scheduled for consistent coverage for lunch breaks.
  • Represents HR Department on various committees internally and externally.
  • Promotes a positive and inclusive culture.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

: Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

: Valid Drivers License. Maintains TECH Inc. provided and required certifications trainings and licenses.

COMMUNICATION

Ability to partner with various levels of staff. Field and respond to inquiries or complaints regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Have a high level of written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively present information to various levels of employees public groups and/or boards of directors.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

: Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. PC proficiency (windows environment) is essential.
