Successful candidates will have a record of active scholarship and demonstrate a strong commitment to mentoring undergraduate students in their program of research. We welcome applicants whose work speaks to issues of social justice and/or candidates who have an orientation towards LMUs mission as well as cross-cultural interdisciplinary and/or collaborative research with departmental colleagues and/or faculty from other departments at LMU.
Successful candidates will be dedicated to teaching a diverse undergraduate student body across a range of undergraduate courses including general psychology research methods and specialty courses in their area of expertise. We also welcome applications from candidates willing to develop courses that contribute to the LMU Core Curriculum (such as a first-year seminar and/or engaged-learning pedagogies); and/or courses contributing to minors in Psychology Applied Developmental Psychology or Cognitive Science.
