Job Description
At Lely we work every day on innovative robotic solutions for the dairy industry. Thats why we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with a passion for quality and an eye for detail to strengthen our Digital Platform.
In this role you will design develop and maintain automated test suites. You will identify test scenarios suitable for automation and work closely with developers to improve the testability of the system. You thoroughly analyze test results and share your findings with the team to drive continuous improvement. Additionally you will perform manual exploratory testing to uncover edge cases. You will actively contribute to enhancing our testing processes and infrastructure.
What are your key responsibilities
- Develop maintain and execute automated test scenarios for the Digital platform.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and software quality.
- Perform manual (exploratory) testing particularly focusing on edge cases.
- Report and analyze test results providing well-founded advice to the team.
- Continuously optimize our testing processes and CI/CD pipeline.
Qualifications :
You are a dedicated testing professional with experience in both test automation and manual testing. You enjoy technical challenges and know how to improve testing processes within an Agile/Scrum working environment.
In addition you bring the following qualifications:
- Higher professional or academic level (HBO/WO) with a background in software or engineering.
- Experience with test tools and frameworks such as Selenium Cucumber Playwright XUnit and Testcontainers.
- Programming skills in for example Python Java JavaScript/TypeScript or C#.
- Familiarity with CI/CD version control (Git) API testing (Postman REST Assured) and SQL.
- Experience with testing methodologies such as risk-based testing and ISTQB.
