Casual Disability Support Workers (Cert IV)

Were on the lookout for casual legends to join our team and support participants under the NDIS frameworkanytime 24/7

Minimum 2-hour shifts because we value your time (and coffee breaks)
1:1 support in participants homes and the community no two days are the same
Work under the SCHADS Award Locations across the South Eastern North Eastern suburbs and everywhere in between
Supportive leaders meaningful work and the occasional dance party while doing dishes (we dont judge)
Were looking for people who have:
A Cert IV in Disability or equivalent superpower
NDIS Worker Screening Check & WWCC First Aid & CPR (bonus points if you remember what DRABCD stands for under pressure)
Reliable transport and a drivers license (teleportation not yet accepted)
The ability to bring kindness patience and maybe a little humour to each shift

Key Selection Criteria:
- Certificate IV in Disability or a social service/health related course is essential.
- Current First Aid CPR and Manual Handling certificates
- Experience with high needs supports and behaviours of concern (desirable)
- Flexibility and adaptability are critical in this role.
- A well-developed ability to problem solve; think creatively and work safely
- Ability to remain calm and seek appropriate support and guidance when required.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good computer literacy skills including the use of MS Office Client Management Systems and other applications.
- Being passionate about helping people and providing support!
- Current and valid Victorian drivers licence.
