Job Description
8 yrs. exp. in fisheries management wildlife management or law enforcement position involving supervision of employees & coordination of wildlife law/fisheries/wildlife programs AND valid drivers license.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in wildlife fisheries management or related field of study AND 24 mos. paid work exp. in wildlife law enforcement fisheries or wildlife management AND 48 mos. trg. or 48 mos. exp. in project/program management AND 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory techniques/principles AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in budgeting AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations AND valid drivers license.
-Or completion of graduate core program in wildlife fisheries management or related field of study AND12 mos. paid work exp. in wildlife law enforcement fisheries or wildlife management AND 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in project/program management AND 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory techniques/principles AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in budgeting AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations AND valid drivers license.

We are seeking energetic passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Wildlife District Manager within the Division of Wildlife headquartered at the Wildlife District 5 Office in Greene County. What you will do
- Administers operations and maintenance for fisheries & wildlife management information & education law enforcement and shooting ranges.
- Responsible for supervising and providing direction to managers who implement operations for fisheries & wildlife management information & education law enforcement and shooting ranges.
- Responsible for responding to public inquiries and communicating with constituents conversation partners news outlets legislators and various stakeholders about Wildlifes mission and responsibilities.
- Facilitates customer service and business operations through supervision of staff who participate in Wildlifes call center phone bank and assist with local business functions for the District Office.
- Starting hourly pay of $43.09/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service with an end salary of $61.56/hr.
