About this Job
This is a fulltime position located at theNorth Toledo Bend State Park in Zwolle LA. This position is part of the Operations travel team and is required to travel daily to complete projects district-wide at various state sites. The domicile for the team is located at North Toledo Bend State Park in Zwolle LA.
Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades building maintenance maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment or as a parks building and grounds attendant; OR
Six semester hours in construction management construction technology or engineering or any combination of these courses.Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance/physical/custodial/clerical tasks to include conducting repairs and preventative maintenance to state park facilities operating and repairing equipment and performing grounds maintenance collecting litter and emptying the trash containers training volunteers and new employees cleaning various park buildings.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational; Current classified permanent status employees may be required to accept a probational appointment if offered the position.
Work Schedule: Fulltime; May be required to work overtime.
Travel: This position is part of the Operations travel team and is required to travel daily to complete projects district-wide at various state sites. The domicile for the team is located atNorth Toledo Bend State Park in Zwolle LA.
Career Progression: This position is in a career progression group to a Maintenance Repairer 2. This position will be filled as either a Maintenance Repairer 1 or 2 based on the qualifications of the selected applicant.How To Apply:
