Deputy Nurse Manager (Supernumerary)

Salary: 46000 per year

Hours: Full-time Permanent

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager in a nursing home or similar setting.
  • RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory standards relevant to nursing homes.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding nursing care by engaging with residents to understand and meet their individual needs.
  • Identify and manage referral pathways for safeguarding concerns and abuse cases.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with external care professionals residents families visitors and the team.
  • Encourage resident and family involvement in the development agreement and evaluation of personalised care programs.
