The Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC) is a 100% Indigenous-owned diversified investment and management holding company that has successfully cultivated a growth-oriented portfolio across various industries. IDC is one of Canadas most successful Indigenous development corporations with significant holdings in Northern and Southern Canada. IDCs Northern business subsidiaries that are the focus of this role include a retail store operation a construction company a hotel/restaurant a camp services company a regional airline and a property management company. This group of companies generates about $70 million in annual revenues and employs about 150 people.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Controller the Capital Projects Finance Manager provides financial oversight and strategic support for IRCs growing portfolio of capital investments and infrastructure projects. This role leads budgeting reporting cost tracking and financial governance processes for major projects across IRCs subsidiaries and joint ventures. Working closely with engineers project managers and operational leaders the Manager ensures robust financial planning performance monitoring and compliance with IRCs investment goals.
