The Role
You will be Responsible for developing and executing test plans and test cases to ensure that change delivery for key financial systems is of a high quality. Your day will have you contribute to the successful delivery of IT application services and implementation of the IT strategy.
This role will have you.
- System and System Integration Testing including test preparation test execution and bug management.
- Functional and non-functional testing
- Managing test environments
- Liaising with IT Project Managers to provide test estimates and agree timelines for test execution
- Liaising with BAs and developers to understand requirements agree test plans and investigate defects
- Supporting business stakeholders during UAT
This role requires the perfect balance of technical experience and strong stakeholder management skills.
Your Background and Experience
Having completedTertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline andISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or similar certification you bring demonstrated experience and a most importantly keen interest in testing. To be successful experience in System and System Integration Testing User Acceptance Testing as well as Experience in Functional and Non-Functional Testing is essential.
Ideally you have worked with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops SQL/Query writing andsome or all of the following: Market Data Broker & Custodian interfaces Order Management Portfolio Management/Compliance systems Execution Management systems Reconciliation systems Performance Reporting Fund Accounting/Valuations.
Experience in Funds Management or related area is preferred.
