Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Keighley
Salary:(depending on experience)
Type: Full-time Permanent
A well-established and expanding Accountancy Practice in Keighley is recruiting a Tax Manager to join its senior leadership team.
This is a key role with responsibility for overseeing tax operations developing junior staff and providing strategic advice to a wide-ranging client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services across the client base
Lead on complex tax planning and restructuring projects
Act as the primary point of contact for high-value and complex clients
Review and sign off on tax returns and HMRC correspondence
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies within the department
Stay on top of changes in tax legislation and brief the wider team
Coach develop and mentor junior tax staff
Represent the firm in client meetings HMRC interactions and professional forums
What Were Looking For:
Strong experience in tax advisory and compliance ideally within a practice setting
Ability to manage a varied client portfolio with confidence
In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation
Proven ability to lead and support a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ACA ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
A commercial mindset with a focus on adding value to client relationships
