Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Herefordshire to assist with the appointment of a Team Manager on a 3.5-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 28.30 - 37.80 per hour
Summary:
As a Team Manager you will play a key leadership role in ensuring services are person-centred strength-based and effectively manage risk. You will also support the Councils wider vision of helping adults live independently stay connected to their communities and lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a locality team delivering adult social care services.
- Champion a strength-based person-centred approach to practice and ensure it is embedded in all decision-making.
- Influence and drive cultural and operational change across the adult social care system.
- Develop and implement service strategies that promote independence safeguard wellbeing and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams partner agencies and communities to co-produce and deliver high-quality value-for-money services.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Demonstrable experience in statutory adult social work including working with complex cases.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role or readiness to step into management based on extensive frontline practice.
- Proven ability to develop and lead teams manage change and implement innovative service delivery approaches.
- Strong knowledge of legislation safeguarding procedures and relevant social care policies.

- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires a Basic DBS
