Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fault finding and extensive experience with commercial irrigation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install maintain and repair commercial irrigation systems including pumps valves pipelines and controllers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
Program and adjust irrigation controllers to optimize water usage.
Conduct regular system inspections to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records of work performed including materials used and time spent.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute irrigation projects.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial irrigation systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various irrigation components.
Familiarity with automated irrigation controllers and sensor technologies.
Certificate III in Irrigation Technology or equivalent qualification preferred.
Valid drivers license.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
