Job Title: Business Analyst for O2C
Location: Cracow Poland
The IT Business Analyst EDI bridges the gap between the Business and the IT organization supporting IT for Operations Supply Chain service owners in providing transparency and guidance on both sides of Business and IT for MS related subjects and facilitating maximizing value add activities in the IT environment on behalf of IT for Operations organization.
The IT BA EDI supports the IT for operations team and the business stakeholders with strategic planning roadmap creation enhancements to realize process improvement and continuously develop leading-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse (existing requirements process data trends market) & Define Scope
Showcasing existing IT solutions to be leveraged by the business (proactive demand)
Identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies simplification and enhancements for IT for Operations organization and processes
Working with the business as a representative of IT to define new demand in alignment with the business and IT strategy
Gathering and shaping business requirements and working with the business and Business Analysts to clarify respective details
Leading the scoping/qualification process for specific business demands within given scope and working with the business and the Business Analysts to clarify respective details.
Plan (timeline resources functionality release) & Define
Resource forecasting towards project and operational teams based on general Supply Chain demand and roadmaps
Balance IT Business analyst workload to achieve on-time support for business demand
Leading the scoping and engaging partners where necessary through procurement/vendor management for awareness of new demand.
Design Solution Build Deploy Run
Create the business case for benefit tracking. Validate that the support organization has capabilities to maintain the solution
Responsible for oversight of budget and timeline adherence. Initial point of escalation for project manager towards external suppliers
Manage partners and external teams providing Support and Continuous Improvements
Collaborate with team members and other IT teams to continually improve Service Levels (Incidents/Requests/Changes) Security Compliance and User Satisfaction of the systems that support Master Data processes
Assess Value
Assisting the Service owner (Lead) and the business to build a long-term roadmap defining milestones resources and budget
Securing that overall business value is incrementally delivered and communicate on value delivered according to plan
Making the link between specific business initiatives projects or programs and IT in order to identify forecast and deliver value
Supporting Supply chain Serialization and Traceability to promote processes and solutions enabling high quality of master data across all systems.
EDI Expertise
Deep understanding of EDI standards and protocols (e.g. X12 EDIFACT XML) and their application in various industry verticals.
Experience with EDI mapping tools and techniques (e.g. Stylus Studio BizTalk Mapper).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues such as data mapping errors transmission problems and compliance issues.
Knowledge of EDI VANs (Value Added Networks) and their role in data exchange.
Skills & Qualifications:
Successful experience in a similar role and environment: at least 10 years in an information systems department with responsibility for a similar or broader scope
Experience in managing various subjects in parallel in a multilingual and multicultural context
Demonstrated experience in large projects in warehouse Management domain
Graduate of a major engineering or management school or higher education in computer science
Knowledge of systems concepts and technologies in Supply Chain planning area
Knowledge of Warehouse Management System & process
Knowledge of Supply Chain S&OP Demand Planning processes
Knowledge of IT and project methodologies
Knowledge of the ICT market players and prices
Experience with new technologies
Experience in an industrial environment. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
Good understanding of GxP and Computerized System Validation
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
