Job Description

Would you like to be part of a larger group with both local and international influence

To strengthen our global Dellner Wind Solutions team we are looking for an experienced Finance Director who will take the Business Unit and our company to the next level through targeted financial management digitalization and internationalization. The Finance Director plays a critical role in ensuring that Dellner Wind achieves its strategic goals and objectives and to lead the Dellner Winds global finance team to be efficient productive and effective. You report directly to the Dellner Group CFO located at the HQ in Sweden and to the Managing Director for Dellner Wind. Dellner Wind is headquartered in Germany but have operations also in China Spain US Czech Poland Brazil and India and is expanding rapidly in the wind energy sector both onshore and offshore.

Tasks

  • Taking overall responsibility for the commercial areas Finance Accounting & Controlling and acting as a strategic partner on the leadership team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
  • Developing and implementing a future-oriented financial strategy for the BU Wind to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Digitalization and optimization of financial and business processes
  • Preparing and monitoring budgets forecasts and financial reports to enable well-founded decisions.
  • Ensuring the preparation of annual financial statements according to the respective legal requirements and coordinating cooperation with tax consultants auditors and banks
  • Support and evaluation of company acquisitions (M&A) and responsibility for post-merger integrations.
  • Sparring partner of the management for strategic decisions and entrepreneurial development.
  • Participation in international expansion.

Requirements

  • A degree in business administration economics or a comparable qualification ideally with a focus on finance/controlling.
  • Several years of experience in a senior commercial role with a proven track record of success and in supporting and managing a growing company
  • In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting controlling and corporate management.
  • Experience in the optimization and digitalization of commercial processes
  • Entrepreneurial thinking team spirit analytical acuity and a pragmatic hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (at least C1 level) further languages are an advantage
  • Distinctive leadership style and strong intercultural skills
  • International experience and ideally M&A know-how.
  • Willingness for occasional business trips and presence at the head office.
  • You have an academic degree in economics or equivalent and communicate fluently in English.
