Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging Computer Science curriculum for students.
- Deliver lessons that promote critical thinking problem-solving and technical skills.
- Assess and evaluate student performance on a regular basis.
- Develop and update teaching materials including lesson plans and homework assignments.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in computer science and education technology.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Organize and participate in school-wide events related to Computer Science.
- Support students in developing their project work and participation in competitions.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to enhance the academic program.
- Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching skills.
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification in Computer Science or related subject.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and programming languages.
- Ability to explain complex topics in an understandable manner.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of assessment methods and tools.
- Ability to engage students in hands-on learning experiences.
