Job Description

Biology/Science Teacher (Years 7 10) Term 4
Location: Essendon VIC
Contract Type: Full-Time Fixed Term (Term 4 2025)
Sector: Independent School

An independent school in Essendon is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Biology/Science Teacher to join their team for Term 4. This position involves teaching Science across Years 7 10 including a focus on Biology.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Science and Biology for Years 7 10

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning

Assess and report on student progress in line with school and curriculum standards

Collaborate with colleagues to support departmental goals and school initiatives

Participate in co-curricular and school community activities as required



Requirements

Requirements:

Relevant teaching qualifications and current VIT registration

Demonstrated experience or interest in teaching Science and Biology to secondary students

Strong classroom management and communication skills
