Job Summary
| • Product development and commercialization • Good understanding of standards & test procedures in the field • Leveraging new product ideas in terms of new chemistry and new applications • Bringing new technologies and indigenization • Working closely with internal stakeholders like technical services marketing and sales to develop new business • Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and Operations • Benchmarking and competition awareness • Value addition by cost engineering • Market Research and insights in coordination with technical services • Team building and interpersonal development of subordinates • Identifying Certification and approvals of various product categories across various applications area. • Developing 3rd party manufacturing and handholding in scale up of various products and process • Coordinate with Operations for various deliverables like process enhancement SOP process upscaling etc. • Bring in better work/material/system/Material handling practices • Technical demonstration of product range to internal and external stake Holders • Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers competitors and customers • Adhering to the Process Management system by adhering to Infor Optiva (Software for Process Management) • Document all phases of research and development. • Market connect by visiting various B2B/ B2C customers to understand their requirements and application challenges and provide new solutions • Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals • Leads and motivates direct reports to achieve personal development • Identify the training needs for self and team members • Developing subordinates in line with business needs |
