Job Description
This is a remote position.
Lead full lifecycle development and maintenance of a new scalable codebase.
Personally develop key AI-driven components writing clean documented and testable code.
Own the codebase architecture and ensure best practices for scalability maintainability and deployment.
Collaborate closely with organizational leaders to align development with user needs and strategic goals.
Integrate the platform with internal systems and services.
Build mentor and manage a team of developers as the engineering function grows.
Guide contributors and junior engineers in expanding the product with new features.
Set development timelines and prioritize features for timely delivery.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on problem-solving in high-pressure scenarios.
Support technical education efforts and assist students with project-specific challenges.
Research and integrate emerging tools especially AI-powered solutions relevant to software development.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Solid machine learning fundamentals and passion for generative AI.
- Strong proficiency in full-stack web development.
- Extensive experience managing large-scale codebases and applying coding standards.
- Proven leadership in engineering teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Excellent communication skills able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive solution-oriented and reliable in fast-paced early-stage environments.
