Job Description

A leading textile industry is looking for Electrical Engineer to maintain troubleshoot and improve electrical systems and machinery in our textile manufacturing plant. The candidate should have strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and textile machinery to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment including textile-specific machinery (looms dyeing machines spinning units etc.).

  • Conduct regular preventive and predictive maintenance of all electrical infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns quickly to reduce machine downtime.

  • Ensure electrical panels switch gear and wiring comply with safety and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with production maintenance and utility teams for smooth operations.

  • Monitor power consumption improve energy efficiency and reduce electrical wastage.

  • Maintain documentation for equipment maintenance electrical inspections and compliance.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical standards (e.g. IEC IS).

  • Support automation projects and upgrades of control systems (PLC VFD SCADA if applicable).



Requirements


  • Diploma / B.E. / in Electrical Engineering.

  • 2 7 years of relevant experience in a textile or process industry.

  • Good knowledge of textile machinery (weaving knitting dyeing finishing) electrical systems.

  • Experience with HT/LT panels generators transformers and PLC systems.

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques and safety regulations.

  • Strong troubleshooting and team coordination skills.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and use electrical diagnostic tools.
