Job Description
- Integrate and program Fanuc robots (online and offline) on the manufacturing shop floor.
- Perform BIW (Body-in-White) robotics simulation and troubleshooting.
- Conduct project activities such as plant investigation feasibility studies and developmental engineering (including interference-clearance analysis weld spot distribution and problem tracking).
- Write equipment robot and process specifications.
- Execute robot reach studies and robotic simulations for welding sealing and handling processes.
- Apply knowledge of weld paint and final assembly processes in automotive manufacturing.
- Provide engineering support for new car model introductions production ramp-ups and line innovation/renovation.
- Use software tools such as Fanuc Robot programming Dalmia V5 and Process Simulate for robotics simulation.
- Exposure to PLC control systems is advantageous.
