The ideal candidate will drive improvements in production throughput resource utilization logistics and equipment efficiency by building data-driven simulation models and providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams
Siemens Technomatics Plant Simulation (2D) SimTalk programming Process flow analysis Capacity & bottleneck analysis Material handling simulation (AGVs Tuggers Conveyors) AutoCAD (basic proficiency) Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering principles Data interpretation & reporting Continuous improvement mindset
Conceptualize and develop 2D simulation models for manufacturing systems using Siemens Plant Simulation.
Conduct capacity analysis identify bottlenecks and propose logistics and layout optimizations.
Evaluate simulation outcomes to improve process flow resource allocation and equipment utilization.
Simulate various transportation systems like AGVs Fork Trucks Tuggers and Conveyors to identify optimal configurations.
Develop models to study material handling efficiency and congestion points within facilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs validate assumptions and implement changes.
Document all methodologies assumptions results and lessons learned in structured reports.
Gather feedback from stakeholders and adapt simulation strategies to improve effectiveness.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience building 2D simulation models with Siemens Technomatics Plant Simulation or similar software.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering environments.
Proficient in SimTalk or similar simulation-specific programming languages.
Basic experience with AutoCAD for layout interpretation.
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
