Job Description

As a Mortgage Pipeline Coordinator you will manage loan pipelines assist with loan submissions troubleshoot file issues and guide Mortgage Bankers on investor scenarios. Your support ensures operational efficiency accurate documentation and on-time closings across various loan products.

Job Overview

Employment type: Indefinite Term Type Contract
Work setup: Work from Home / Remote

Your Daily Tasks
  • Support MBs with loan scenarios and guideline interpretations
  • Enter and run GUS for USDA loans; assist with DU/LP errors
  • Review suspended loans and aid in removing them from suspense
  • Assist with origination submission and condition clearing for incoming or outgoing MBs
  • Provide insight on the best investors and scenarios for Jumbo loans
  • Proactively review the pipeline to identify and prevent last-minute rushes
  • Manage urgent requests for Clear to Close (CTC) and appraisal reviews
  • Conduct tax return analyses and run loan beam calculations for self-employed borrowers
  • Participate in pipeline calls with processors as needed
  • Provide support with Byte and other LOS tools
  • Assist with lock extensions and relocks as needed
  • Facilitate calls with newly onboarded MBs for the first 30 days
  • Collaborate with MBs and the RAQ team to maintain and update appraisal panels

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 2 years of prior experience in mortgage operations processing or coordination
  • Knowledge of investor guidelines and loan scenarios including Jumbos and USDA loans
  • Familiarity with tax return analysis and self-employed income calculations is a plus

  • Problem Solver: Able to troubleshoot issues independently and propose practical solutions
  • Time Management: Balances competing priorities in a high-volume environment without compromising quality
  • Customer-Focused: Delivers exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Mortgage Bankers directly
  • Exposure to various mortgage products and investor overlays
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced client-driven environment
  • Understanding of GUS DU/LP and loan origination systems (e.g. Byte)
