Job Summary
Join a fast-growing lifestyle retail brand making its Southeast Asia debut after dominating its home market. With an emphasis on beautifully curated design-forward retail experiences the team is now building a flagship presence in Malaysia and we re looking for a hands-on leader to make it happen.
This is a remote role based in Malaysia ideal for independent operators who can lead expansion while staying mobile and connected.
Key Responsibilities
Lead store expansion strategy across Malaysia from planning to execution
Identify evaluate and secure high-potential retail locations in key malls and commercial hubs
Build and maintain strong landlord relationships especially with major shopping centres
Negotiate leases including commercial terms legal aspects and tenancy conditions
Track market trends competitor movement and trade terms across malls and retail zones
Prepare internal proposals for HQ approval including site studies and business cases
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal design and ops teams to ensure smooth launches
Requirements
What You Bring
5 years in retail expansion leasing or business development
Strong relationships with landlords mall owners or REITs in Malaysia
Excellent negotiation presentation and stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset with strong execution muscle
Self-driven well-organised and comfortable working remotely
