Raytheon Vision System is hiring a staff technician for the special fabrication lab. The technician will report to the Supervisor and team leader of that designed lab for support tasks.
This position involves directly working with multiple teams and multiple areas. There will be cross functional daily tasks that are required to support. The selected candidate will be responsible for following RADP instructions and following some drawing instructions. While working in the special fabrication lab you will be tasked to solder several components utilizing small hand tools. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced team environment and comfortable starting new tasks at any time. Ability to conduct any type of work alone and support gates not assigned.
What You Will Do
Conduct test measurements utilizing multimeter
Use several types of small hand tools
Calibrate equipment
RADP system to follow instructions on proper builds
Factory services protocols
Build cable assemblies while utilizing microscopes
Must be able to obtain J Standard solder certification
This is a 1st shift onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
Experience working with RADP system
Experience with engineering drawings
Ability to obtain J Standard certification
Clean room experience

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with IR Systems Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes
Understanding of FOD and FOD-prevention methods
Understanding ESD protocols

Visit RVS: Raytheon in Goleta: salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 111000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
