Job Description
Opening in November 2025 Sonka Luxury Resort is set to redefine Arctic hospitality. Nestled in a private valley in the heart of Lapland by the edge of a pristine lake and surrounded by untouched nature our exclusive resort offers guests a sanctuary of peace privacy and elegance.
With 20 luxurious accommodations Sonka Luxury Resort blends Laplands rich cultural heritage with contemporary design delivering an unforgettable immersive experience of the Arctic all in the comfort of world-class amenities and service.
Tasks
Clean prepare and refresh guest rooms and suites to the resorts luxury standards.
Ensure all amenities are fully stocked and presented with attention to detail.
Follow strict hygiene protocols especially in bathrooms and high-touch areas.
Report maintenance needs or damages promptly to relevant departments.
Handle guest items and privacy with the utmost discretion and care.
Ensure fresh high-quality linen and towels are available for all rooms.
Restock carts and storage rooms daily ensuring readiness for each shift.
Report low inventory and assist in monthly stock counts.
Collaborate closely with Front Office Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Respond quickly to special requests last-minute changes or guest-specific preferences.
Requirements
A professional reliable and service-minded approach to all tasks and guest interactions.
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are considered a plus).
Previous experience in housekeeping or luxury hospitality is highly valued though not mandatory.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and peak guest periods.
As this is a seasonal position requiring full-time availability only candidates with valid work permits allowing full-time employment in Finland are eligible to apply.
