Job Description
About the role
As a Shift Supervisor you will lead plant operations with a strong focus on safety quality and team performance. Youll play a key role in driving efficiency supporting staff and upholding our environmental and operational standards.
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure safety efficiency and product quality
- Lead and support your team fostering a respectful and collaborative culture
- Deliver hands-on training for machinery use and forklift safety
- Monitor equipment manage material/job changes and report maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and promote continuous improvement
- Support sustainability initiatives aligned with WM Porohita - Circular Economy goals
- Maintain accurate production records and oversee correct packaging and labelling
- Uphold company values in all tasks and perform other duties as required
The timing for this role will be 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM 40 hours per week.
Qualifications :
About you:
- Moderate experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong leadership coaching and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude and experience in a production environment
- Competence in operating heavy machinery and forklifts
- Knowledge of HSEQ legislation and systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
- Current forklift and drivers licences
