Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to spearhead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in automation frameworksespecially Playwrightalongside strong hands-on experience in JavaScript or TypeScript. Prior experience in ERP systems is an added advantage. As a QA Lead you will play a pivotal role in building robust testing strategies leading QA teams and ensuring the highest quality of software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA planning automation and execution across projects.
Design and implement test automation frameworks using Playwright.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Monitor test execution identify bugs and drive them to resolution with the dev team.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
Ensure adherence to best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes.
Contribute to regression performance and integration testing strategies.
Experience in testing ERP systems will be a significant plus.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
912 years of total experience in Quality Assurance with at least 23 years in a leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
Proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman.
Deep understanding of automation frameworks test design and CI/CD integration.
Strong experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA TestRail or similar.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Experience in ERP testing is highly desirable.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
ISTQB certification or similar.
