Job Description

Your Role:


The Early Career/ Rising Talent Program Manager for Invescos Investments organization plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our talent pipeline. This dynamic and multifaceted position involves leading the recruitment onboarding and development of early-career investment hires.

As the Program Manager you will work closely with various teams and business leaders to identify and define talent requirements ensuring our early careers strategy aligns with their business goals. You will have the unique chance to wear many hats from spearheading recruitment efforts and designing comprehensive development programs to managing and coaching interns and full-time cohorts. If you are passionate about talent development and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment this role is ideal for you.

This role reports to the Head of Early Careers and is part of a team of program managers curriculum designer and university relations manager.

You will be responsible for:

Program Management Strategy

  • Execute an early career strategy for the Investments business ensuring alignment with business needs and delivering exceptional experiences for our Early Career hires from internship through full-time placement.

  • Drive continuous program enhancements including rotation assignments and other strategic initiatives.

  • Foster and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships to secure team participation and support for hosting interns and full-time hires.

Interns

  • Manage the summer internship program providing supervision and guidance to interns throughout the 10-week period.

  • Assess summer interns to determine which ones receive full-time offers.

Full-time Program

  • Develop and implement the curriculum ensuring they receive comprehensive learning experiences during rotational assignments with various investment groups.

  • Collaborate with host teams to create detailed learning outcomes and agendas.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Business leaders on junior hiring needs.

Recruiting

  • Understand the hiring needs within Investments to identify headcount needs and skill gaps to fill

  • Working with our Early Careers university relations manager to lead the recruitment of high-caliber talent for both the internship and the full time analyst program

  • Oversee the selection process including cultivating external relationships with universities resume collections assessment interviews selection and offers

Experience You Bring:

  • 7 years of related work experience preferably in investment management.

  • Experience in managing an early careers program preferred.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with key stakeholders and various business leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training and development programs.

  • Effective people leader who can coach empower and develop young professionals.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills comfortable presenting in various settings.

  • Highly organized detail-oriented and adept at project management including ability to manage program budgets

  • Acts with urgency and can effectively prioritize and multitask.

  • Demonstrated organizational savvy and executive presence; effectively engaging with and influencing various stakeholders.

  • A bachelors degree in business or a related field of study and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
