We are looking for a Director of our Childrens Therapeutic Services for our Salem office!
This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery development and evaluation of therapeutic programs serving children and adolescents with behavioral emotional and developmental needs. This role ensures clinical excellence regulatory compliance and operational efficiency while fostering a supportive and trauma-informed care environment for clients and staff. The Director plays a critical role in strategic planning program expansion staff supervision and stakeholder engagement.
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of pediatric programs implementation and development of childrens services in catchment area.
Responsible for recruiting hiring training terminating professional development and supervising clinical and non-clinical staff.
Develop and maintain therapists schedules and provide oversight to groups.
Assist in planning and implementation of the budget meeting or exceeding expectations.
Develop and maintain relationships with outside agencies and communities.
Respond to internal and external complaints.
Prepare and maintain program certification quality assurance licensing etc.
Ensure program meets all state federal and other regulatory guidelines.
Develop and provide service reports for funding sources and state requirements.
Work with grant staff to maintain program funding and support new services.
Monitor facility activities to ensure safety of clients and families.
Participate in agency meetings and represent Easterseals at local and state committees.
Provide on-going public awareness of special needs in young children.
Adhere to the policies and procedures of the program agency state and federal regulations and funding sources.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in educational therapeutic or social service work with young children and families or related
Masters degree preferred
Five years of professional experience beyond degree; at least three years in a developmentally oriented program and at least one year in an administrative role
Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) number or ability to obtain
National Provider number or ability to obtain
Current State License or Certification
Current National Certification if required
Current updated Resume/Curriculum Vitale including Easter Seals
Degree certificate or transcript
Malpractice insurance per Agency policy
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate if applicable
Current Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if applicable
All relevant documentation regarding sanctions and/or malpractice actions if any
All relevant identification numbers i.e. Unique Physician ID Number (UPIN) Medicare Medicaid etc.
Hours:
Full time 40 hours
Compensation:
$69775.60 - $87695.60
