Job Description

TPT Wealth is looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of our Funds under Management within the Lending & Investments division.
This is more than a sales role its an opportunity to activate your network build trusted partnerships and expand the reach of a well-established brand with strong roots in the Tasmanian market. Youll be the connector between our managed funds and the advisers associations institutions and individuals who trust us with their investment goals.
In this role youll develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned to TPT Wealths growth objectives. Youll work to energise existing referral sources while building new alliance partnerships across Tasmania deepening our presence in adviser groups law firms accounting practices institutions and the broader retail investor market. Youll represent TPT Wealth at key industry events networking forums and professional development sessions and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless and compliant client experience. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service maintaining meaningful relationships and achieving growth targets.
To succeed in this role youll bring proven experience in funds management distribution or portfolio management ideally with a minimum of five years in a similar role. Youll hold an RG146 qualification and be able to demonstrate success in driving business growth and meeting sales targets. A strong understanding of income funds and financial products is essential along with a solid grasp of compliance requirements including KYC AML/CTF and broader regulatory frameworks.
Youll be an engaging and confident communicator who can influence negotiate and build trust with a range of stakeholders. With a self-motivated and autonomous approach youll know how to prioritise your time and drive activity while maintaining resilience in a fast-paced environment.
