Job Description
- Deliver Snapologys curriculum-based programs using LEGO bricks and other tools
- Lead groups of up to 20 students in a classroom camp or enrichment setting
- Create a fun positive and inclusive environment that promotes creativity and teamwork
- Manage student behavior using effective classroom techniques
- Prepare for programs by reviewing curriculum and attending training as needed
- Set up and clean up materials before and after each session
- Communicate professionally with parents schools and Snapology staff
- Travel to schools community centers and partner locations throughout the service area
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in a classroom camp or similar environment
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Must be reliable punctual and able to work independently
- Must have (or be willing to obtain) current Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances
- Education degree or active enrollment in an education-related field preferred
- Experience working with neurodiverse learners is a plus
- Access to reliable transportation
- Summer (MayAugust): Weeklong morning and afternoon camps (1535 hrs/week)
- School Year (AugustMay): After-school classes (typically 2:454:45PM) birthday parties and school break camps (Thanksgiving Winter Spring etc.)
- $12$18/hour based on experience
