Job Description
BIM Coordinator (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Chicago IL):Set up architecture or engineering projects for the team in compliance with BIM standards. Perform model audits and checks ensuring compliance with the BIM Execution Plan. Conduct BIM coordination meetings with internal team and external project stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and communicate procedural changes. Assist in creating managing and organizing Revit families to enhance companys content libraries. Support project teams with BIM project execution planning at project kickoff and project milestones. Provide final check of projects for quality assurance focusing on model quality and drawing graphics. Maintain proper communication of issues and proper documentation for projects. Assist development and implementation of training programs for BIM applications. Document procedures workflows and best practices for data post-processing and modeling. Provide troubleshooting assistance and mentoring for Revit users. Perform pilot testing of new BIM applications and add-ins.40 hours per week M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). Salary is $107152 per year. Individuals in this position may be paid a discretionary bonus. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education qualifications experience & work location.#LI-DNI #GTM
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of post-bachelors progressive related work experience; OR a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience must have 3 years of experience with the following: Revit AutoCAD and Bluebeam; BIM modeling and standards-checking; Clash detection tools including Navisworks BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC); Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) processes and AEC industry standards; BIM execution planning and developing modeling plans for each phase of a design; Coordinating and managing BIM models.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 day a week depending on business need.
