Job Description

Job Title: Renewal Coordinator
Location: Onsite Indianapolis IN
Interview Process: Initial via Microsoft Teams; 2nd Round In-person
Background Check: Includes DMV Record Check

Job Overview:

The Renewal Coordinator at IDOI will be responsible for overseeing the renewal and reinstatement process for resident and non-resident insurance producers consultants and agencies. The coordinator ensures compliance with all applicable laws rules and procedures manages communications with internal and external stakeholders and assists with system troubleshooting and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process license renewal and reinstatement applications.

  • Analyze background documentation (civil criminal administrative) for eligibility determinations.

  • Collaborate with agencies like Vertafore/Sircon NIPR FINRA and other state DOIs to verify candidate status.

  • Utilize various systems including I-Site NIPR Attachments Warehouse INBiz and FINRA BrokerCheck.

  • Manage waiver forms for license reinstatement testing.

  • Maintain IDOI renewal and reinstatement webpages and documentation.

  • Communicate with applicants and stakeholders regarding licensing procedures.

  • Assist the Education Coordinator with CE-related processing (due date extensions and retirement exemptions).

Required Skills & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required

  • 2 years of strong customer service experience in a business/professional setting Required

  • 2 years of practical experience with MS Office (Word Excel Teams) Required

Highly Desired Skills:
  • Experience in Life Accident & Health (LAH) or Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.

  • Previous call center or high-volume support experience.
