Responsibilities:
- Responsible for personnel decisions regarding hiring performance management career development skills development compensation interpersonal conflict resolution and terminations for 12 direct or indirect reports
- Assume accountability for all turnovers work orders inventory vendor management and groundskeeping
- Plan execute and report on full-building renovations preventative maintenance and construction projects
- Set safety expectations for the team and adhere to company safety standards
- Complete high-skilled work (plumbing electrical HVAC) when possible to lower vendor costs
- Monitor expenditures and adhere to budget
- Serve as the liaison between property management and maintenance teams
- Source and coordinate external contractors vendors and suppliers as necessary
Successful Candidate Profile
Work Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Active drivers license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided)
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to work in confined spaces as well as ascend and descend ladders and staircases
- Deliver world-class customer service to every tenant despite gender race age or sexual orientation
- Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in two of the following trades: Plumbing Electrical HVAC
- 7 years experience Multi-Family Property Management Maintenance experience
- 5 years experience as a supervisor
- Experience managing scattered-site properties
- In-depth understanding of maintenance-related fields apartment unit renovations and rehabs and vendor/contractor coordination
