Perform Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician on behalf of our client a long-established and highly respected food production company based in Co. Meath.
Our client is a trusted leader in exporting premium Irish produce to high-end European markets. With state-of-the-art processing facilities and an exciting phase of rapid expansion this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Maintenance Technician to join a forward-thinking and dynamic operations team.
The Role
As a Maintenance Technician you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently across the site. Youll be part of a fast-paced environment where flexibility problem-solving and technical ability are highly valued.
Your day-to-day will include:

Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and facilities

Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns minimising downtime and ensuring safety

Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative measures

Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site through daily checks and inspections

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production
-
Completing accurate maintenance reports and communicating issues effectively
About You
Were looking for someone who is proactive hands-on and thrives in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will have:

A qualification in a mechanical discipline (electrical skills a strong advantage)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or food production environment

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
