About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Medical Officer to join the team at St Vincents Private Hospital Brisbane. You will have a commitment to rehabilitation providing high-quality clinical care under the supervision of a Rehabilitation Consultant. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering person-centred rehabilitation following injury illness or elective surgery and who thrives in collaborative team-based care environments.

This is a fixed term role 2nd February 2026 to 30 June 2026. Possibility of extension of contract.

Things that work for us:

  • General registration with the Medical Board of Australia via Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 2 years postgrad experience in rehabilitation or general medicine
  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice education research and quality improvement activities
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet the SVHA requirements for credentialing and scope of clinical practice.
