Minnehaha Academy is a PreK 12 Christian school and a ministry of the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church of America.
Our mission is to provide a high quality education integrating the Christian faith and learning.
Extended Day Assistant Teacher
Our program is open Monday through Friday during the school year serving grades K-8. The hours for this position are 2:45pm to 6:00pm. During school breaks there are also opportunities to work 4 to 6 hour shifts.Salary range will be $15.57 - $19.00 per hour.
Qualifications for the job include:
- Passion for working with children
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong people skills to interact with the children parents and staff
- Prior experience working with children in a church school daycare or camp setting preferred
- Ability to plan and implement age appropriate activities
- Support and implement the mission of the school and the Extended Day Program
- CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
