Work Schedule: 10 hours per week.
Desired Length of Employment: Fall 2025 and Spring 2026
Pay Rate: $10.00
Job Description:
- The student will provide lab and research support to the BIO 1105 and 1106 courses. The student will learn how to work in a lab prepare lab equipment update data for archiving and improve the research exploration labs.
- The student worker will assist the lab coordinators in preparing for and conducting the setup and breakdown of weekly labs cleaning inventory audits and stocking supplies.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and passed BIO1105 and BIO1106 labs with a B or better. Have excellent communication and organizational skills attention to detail problem-solving skills and be a self-starter. Should be able to work well within a team environment and have a good work ethic.
- Pay rate is $10.00 per hour.
- Provide lab/research support for assigned area of responsibility
- Assist with various projects activities and tasks related to University laboratories and research
- Adhere to and ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
