The Mallard Lounge - Outlet Manager
At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts exceptional service and flavors are the hallmarks of every dining experience. In the Mallard Lounge your leadership and passion for guest service will drive outstanding operating results.
Salary Range: $78000 - $85000 gross annually based on previous experience and education
Job Duties Include:
- Lead the Mallard Lounge team to deliver service excellence to all guests
- Deliver training and provide consistent coaching to new and existing team members
- Drive revenue and profit through the development and implementation of strategies practices and promotions
- Create restaurant budgets and forecasts focusing on labour productivity revenue and expenses
- Manage the beverage inventory in the lounge ensuring cost controls are in place
- Foster and maintain high colleague engagement performance and team spirit within the department
- Follow up on guest complaints and ensure appropriate internal follow up including implementing training resolutions and effective performance management where applicable
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years management experience within Food & Beverage
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenues and profit through menu design food & beverage offerings and effective marketing strategies
- A thorough working knowledge of wines liqueurs and other beverages. Sommelier designation an asset
- Experience with Food & Beverage financial reporting structures (budgets labor productivity revenue and expenses)
