Job Description

Position: Senior HR Generalist (Bulgarian)

Location: Sofia Bulgaria

Work model: onsite

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with managers team leaders and various stakeholders to support a positive employee experience.
  • Address and resolve employee relations concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a supportive and approachable environment for employees seeking HR guidance.
  • Contribute to the improvement of HR-related performance and success metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable employment laws and organizational policies.
  • Conduct confidential investigations related to employee conduct performance and workplace issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates of employee records in HR information systems to support payroll benefits and program administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native/fluent in Bulgarian (C1) both oral and written as well as proficiency in English (at least B2).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR practices relevant to the local context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy openness and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality internal customer service.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g. Oracle SAP) and general computer applications or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • High standards of integrity discretion and attention to detail.
  • Ability to serve as a reliable advisor to both employees and leadership in sensitive or complex situations.

  • In terms of industry experience - ideally BPO and related industries. In terms of size- at least 500 employees and bigger companies Id say
  • Salary: approximately 40000 BGN a year (slightly flexible on this one for the right profile due to urgency) yearly bonus in range 5-8% (exact value still TBC).

    Experience required: Need to have strong HR experience to include Performance Management Absence Management as well as experience of working in a busy environment dealing with on barding and also redundancies/ ramp downs.
