Olde English ConsortiumJob Description: Administrative AssistantOlde English ConsortiumLocation: York Technical College CampusPosition Overview:The Olde English Consortium (OEC) is seeking a motivated detail-oriented and tech-savvy Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. Located on the campus of York Technical College this position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director and facilitating the smooth operation of our consortium. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator highly organized and adept at time management with a proven ability to take initiative and work is a part-time position requiring 30 hours per week during the academic year and 20 hours per week during the summer Responsibilities:Office Operations & Environment:oSet up and maintain your workspace including organizing office supplies and office functions including mail distribution and daily office the availability of resources such as coffee ice for meetings and keys for building office equipment including fax machines voicemail phones and the door-buzz-in & Communication:oMaintain and manage the OEC email accounts ensuring smooth communication up and maintain Outlook and manage the OECs digital tools ensuring efficient operation of databases and other yourself with the OECs website and its log-in features including making occasional updates to and maintain files on the computer including reviewing past work and ensuring all passwords and system updates are Planning & Coordination:oCoordinate and manage OEC meetings including the setup and catering email templates for meeting notifications and confirmations ensuring all members receive timely with planning and preparation for OEC events such as conferences luncheons and academic & Record Management:oFamiliarize yourself with the OECs member district database and maintain the accuracy of with the collection and organization of materials needed for meetings and to Executive Director:oAssist the Executive Director with administrative tasks and planning including scheduling meetings and maintaining and assist with budget documents research and financial Skills & Qualifications:Excellent communication skills both verbal and organizational and time management and able to take initiative with minimal in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel) and familiarity with Google to manage multiple tasks and prioritize attention to detail and problem-solving to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information administrative experience preferred but not Instructions:To apply please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your qualifications and interest in the position to Dr. Tony Hemingway at by July 15.
